Homeowner Aerobic Treatment OSSF Maintenance Training Course

The Comal County Engineer’s Office (CCEO) has developed an Aerobic OSSF Homeowner Maintenance Class.  The class will consist of both classroom time and field inspections.  The next homeowner maintenance training course is scheduled for September 12, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Comal County Extension Office located at 325 Resource Drive, New Braunfels, TX 78132.  Space is limited, so please contact the CCEO at

New Comal County Subdivision Development Map. The CCEO has revised the Subdivision Development Map for the unincorporated portions of Comal County.  The subdivisions shown on the map are have either been fully developed since 2000, or are still actively developing.  

Comal County Preliminary FEMA Floodplain Maps Available On-Line. FEMA released its Preliminary Floodplain Maps for Comal County on March 10, 2006.  Follow the link above or utilize the Comal County GIS website below to view them.    

Comal County has adopted County Road Map The Texas Legislature passed a statute that allows counties the ability to adopt a County Road Map. This map is intended to allow a Commissioners Court to publicly and officially declare the roads within their county which they claim to be county maintained public roads. READ MORE>>


On-Line Septic Search
Comal County septic records are now available on-line. Over 20,000 files have been scanned and are available for free download. These files can be downloaded or viewed right from your computer. New septic files will be scanned into our system as they are closed out. Any questions/problems concerning these files can be answered by contacting the Environmental Health Department.
