Comal County Engineer's Office Closed to In-Person Traffic

The Comal County Engineer's Office (CCEO) is closing to foot traffic in an effort to protect the public and County employees from potential exposure to the novel coronavirus.

For questions related to services provided by the CCEO, please call 830-608-2090 and we will get you routed to someone that can answer your question.

To submit Septic, Floodplain, Driveway, and Utility permit applications, you have a few options:

1. Submit By E-mail. E-mail scanned application to griffk@co.comal.tx.us. If application is administratively complete, a CCEO representative will contact you to obtain application fee by credit card over the phone. Please understand that there is a 3% convenience fee to pay by credit card.

2. Submit By Appointment. Call 830-608-2090 and set up a time to turn in application through curbside delivery of application. While you wait in your car, we will review application to ensure it is administratively complete. If it is, we will come back to your car to receive application fee.

3. Submit By Drop Box. We have a weather-resistant, locked drop box outside the CCEO where applications can be dropped. We will review and contact you if there are any administrative deficiencies that need to be addressed. In addition, we will mail you a receipt for any application fees that are submitted.
